“I am a chameleon... I can go from prayer to pop locking in five seconds flat,” says Melissa Nicole, owner and operator of M. Nicole LLC, permanent makeup artistry business. This dynamic woman is equal parts smart, passionate, spontaneous, assertive, spiritual, and the life of the party. These qualities are not surprising since Melissa was born and raised in Detroit, educated in both parochial and public schools, attended Wayne State University, and is a true child of the “bamboo earrings at least two pair” ‘80s. Witnessing a family member’s increased confidence after getting a timeless brow, she saw an avenue to pursue her goals in entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment, and decided to train at the NadyB Beauty Bar in Dearborn, Michigan.
